Lewis Carroll on descriptions

When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don’t state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.

  1. I love that this rhymes – all the more easy to remember. : ) Thank for sharing. PS. I lived in Australia for a while and never got to visit Adelaide but I have a lovely friend Gabby who is from there. I know you probably don’t know her because it’s a huge city but it’s on the top of my list of places that I want to see. Plus, you’re adorable in your scarf and everything in your picture. : )

    • I’m glad you liked it! I hope you liked living in Australia. Adelaide is a pretty sleepy little city but it is worth a visit if you have a chance -its so close to some great wine regions, seaside villages and beautiful country side. Hope you get to visit soon!
