So, once again, I’ve been very busy and neglected talking to you. But here’s my excuse – I’ve been coordinating a very large, very demanding parade for the Adelaide Fringe. It took place last Friday, and only just – for two days prior it rained and rained and rained in Adelaide. Luckily for me and my team, the rain cleared only hours before the parade was due to start, and an audience of about 35 000 lined the street to see what I had been up to for the last 6 months. Here’s a quick taster:
So now it’s Fringe time in Adelaide, for about a month, but I will endevour to write more, and read more, and think more. Just as soon as I catch up on my sleep.
I don’t know what Fringe is, but that sure looks like it was a lot of fun!!!!
Fringe festivals are such a vibrant adjunct to the main event — congrats on such a brilliant parade!
The lights, the fire, the acrobats, the camels…wow! Can’t imagine the permits and organization that goes into that! Very well done, indeed!
